Training and Behaviour Rehabilitation methods continue to change and advance as Canine Behaviour is studied and the results of those studies are utilized to enrich the dog/human relationship and improve communication. Gone are the days of correction-based training previously used to force a dog to comply. Todays methods are more effective, less stressful and have been proven to build a more predictable, reliable and much happier dog.

Diamond in the Ruff does not use pain, fear or intimidation in order to successfully train and/or rehabilitate any dog nor will you be required to buy any special collars or training devices. You won't hear talk of inaccurate Dominance or Alpha theories from old, fallacious wolf studies when formulating an effective training plan or behaviour modification outline for your puppy or dog. What you will get is not only the 'what to do' but the 'why' behind each training plan and an effective program that's both humane and sound.

Owner and Head Trainer Colleen McCarvill is an honour graduate and Mentor Trainer for the Animal Behaviour College, and is currently studying for the Advanced Dog Behavior Dip., with the Companion Animal Sciences Institute, the most Advanced Behavior program available in this industry today.
