"RUFF" N' TUMBLE
- Puppy Kindergarten.
This six week course includes safe socialization, 16 different behaviours/commands,
problem solving and even grooming maintainance and trick training. This is a clicker class and is not
only gentle and effective, it's a whole lot of family fun. All puppies must have their second series of shots plus Bordatella (kennel cough) protection 1 week prior to class.
Classes are offered on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons and evenings on
an ongoing basis.

CANINE EINSTEIN
- the next level after puppy school.
Your puppy has learned several commands, now it's time to
add a little distance, duration and distraction to those commands.
Being a "Ruff" n'
Tumble graduate means that your pup can already perform a wide variety of behaviours without visible rewards, in
this class we'll be fine tuning those behaviors and adding some more challenges.
Can your puppy
sit when asked from a twenty foot distance away from you....with your back turned? How about when you add
other dogs, toys, and different environments to that challenge?
This is the class that will take you and your pup
to the next level as a happy, cohesive team.
Pups and dogs must have completed either "Ruff"
n' Tumble Puppy Kindergarten or Private Training with Diamond in the "Ruff" Inc. and be social.

GROWL CLASS - Rehabilitation
for the Reactive Dog.
Is your dog a little "Ruff" around the edges? Maybe GROWL class is what he
needs in order to smooth out that tough exterior and reveal the dog you know and love to the rest of the world. GROWL
class is for dogs who are reactive to any trigger; other dogs, people, skateboards, cars..anything that causes anxiety
levels to make him appear aggressive or upset. This class will actually deal with the root cause of the problem, rather
than simply suppressing the symptoms (reactivity) of those problems.
Over 95% of what appears to be angry
aggression is actually based in fear. Unfortunately, this kind of behavior has been misunderstood and therefore handled
improperly in the past. We now know that dealing with "aggression" using anger and physical punishment is
not only incorrect and inhumane, it's also ineffective in actually dealing with what caused the behaviour in the first
place.
In this 8 week rehabilitation class, we will use both COUNTER CONDITIONING/DESENSITIZATION
methods, and in rare cases CAT (CONSTRUCTIONAL AGGRESSION TREATMENT) to change the way that your dog feels about the trigger
to his anxiety, rather that simply correcting the symptoms (growling, lunging, snapping). You will learn how
to teach your dog to see this scarey stimulus as a bonus rather than a threat, thus rebuilding his confidence...and
yours.

- Confidence building, Obedience and Agility....FUN, FUN, FUN!!!!!!
Would you like to spend a fast
paced, fun-filled hour with your dog, improve your skills as a handler and increase his obedience performance too?
Then this is the class for you!
This hour will fly by as we incorporate non-competitive agility and obedience
circuits to really polish your skills as a team.
All dogs must be social with other dogs and people and have completed
either "Ruff" n' Tumble Puppy Class or Private Training with Diamond in the "Ruff" inc.
